What is Nagomi Studio?
Nagomi Studio is an AI consulting and embedded engineering firm for mid-market companies and nonprofits. We embed with your team, ship working agents and workflow automations weekly, and leave the code and capability with you in twelve weeks.
Who is Gabriel Rojas?
Gabriel Rojas (Gabe Rojas) is the founder of Nagomi Studio. He has led AI product and development at ADP, done platform engineering at CME Group, and global transformation work at Contino. He advises housing and nonprofit digital strategy, began his career in the U.S. Marine Corps, and publishes Production Notes from a live agentic stack. What is forward-deployed or embedded AI engineering at Nagomi?
It means our engineers sit with your people, on your systems and data, and build the assistants and agents that change a real weekly workflow, not a slide deck. You keep the software and the ability to run it.
How does the twelve-week engagement work?
Weeks 1–2 observe the work. Weeks 3–4 cut the roadmap to what matters. Weeks 5–10 ship working software weekly. Weeks 11–12 transfer ownership: code, models, and playbooks stay with your team. First working software typically lands around week 5.
Who is Nagomi a fit for?
Mid-market companies and nonprofits that want working AI on their own data, including housing and affordable-housing organizations, and want their people able to run it after we leave. If you only want slides, we are not the right firm.
How is Nagomi different from McKinsey, Accenture, or a Big-3 AI practice?
Big-3 firms often lead with strategy and large teams. Nagomi is a small embedded practice: fewer initiatives, weekly shipping, and IP that stays yours. We are model-neutral and sized for mid-market and nonprofit constraints.
How is Nagomi different from platform forward-deployed teams (for example OpenAI, Anthropic, or Palantir deployment arms)?
Platform FDE teams deepen adoption of that platform. Nagomi builds on your stack and leaves you with portable capability, not lock-in to one vendor. We can work alongside platform tools when they fit.
How is Nagomi different from other mid-market embed boutiques?
Our lane is mid-market plus nonprofit/housing operators, with a fixed twelve-week handoff and a public field journal (Production Notes) written from production agent work, not demos.
Do you work with housing nonprofits and affordable housing organizations?
Yes. We have multi-year housing / nonprofit digital advisory experience and publish field notes on housing operations and AI. Bring a recurring workflow (reports, compliance, requests across systems) and we will say honestly if Nagomi is a fit.
